AFL 2025 Finals Week Two – Betting Tips, Odds & Predictions
Take a look at our expert AFL tips and match previews for both games set to take place in week two of the finals series, which kicks off on Friday night.
Premiership success has been hard to come by in South Australia since the state’s two teams joined the league in 1991, and the Crows are the only team to have reached that peak. They did so back-to-back in 1997 and 1998, and while they have failed to replicate anything resembling that since, they have been a reasonably consistent finals contender this century – at least, up until their Grand Final loss in 2017. That sent them on a spiral which saw them miss seven straight finals series, but South Australia’s biggest club is set to end that streak in 2025.

The Crows were founded in 1990 after no team outside the Power was approved to join the newly named AFL, and joined the big league the next year. They were relatively successful from the outset, finishing 9th in each of their first two years, before in 1997 – just their second finals appearance – they won their inaugural flag before backing it up with another the next year. They’ve had a few chances since then to make it three, none better than when they entered the 2017 Grand Final as comfortable favourites, but for the time being they remain stuck with two Premierships in their trophy cabinet.
Most Crows games are available on Channel 7 in Adelaide and a handful in other states, while every game can be watched live on Foxtel and Kayo. To catch the Adelaide game today from outside Australia, you’ll need a WatchAFL account.
