AFL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week - Round 23

Just two rounds remain in the AFL home and away season, but there is still plenty to be decided when it comes to which teams play finals and where they finish. Clearly, this weekend will have a massive impact on that, particularly with three games between potential finalists taking place over the course of the round. Our Round 23 AFL multi bets kick off with one of those when the Suns face the Giants, and all three legs this weekend focus on individual players rather than match outcomes. Check out the logic behind each of the bets below.

16th of August, 12.35pm AEST, People First Stadium

Our first AFL multi tip of the week will focus on a Suns player having the best season of his career to date in Matt Rowell. The bullocking midfielder has been a key pillar in his team’s rise up the ladder this season, and in recent weeks he has been winning the ball as prolifically as he ever has. Rowell has accumulated at least 30 disposals in four of his last five games, but despite that is paying better than even money to do so again this weekend. This looks like a good way to kick off the weekend’s multi with a little bit of value.

Hawthorn Hawks vs Melbourne Demons

  • AFL Melbourne Demons

16th of August, 4.15pm AEST, MCG

Bayley Fritsch has not exactly had the best season of his career, but he has begun to come into some form with the season winding down. After booting multiple goals just four times in his first 11 games of the season, Fritsch has done it in every game but one since Round 14, making it eight from his past nine. Despite that, the betting apps have him pegged as around about an even money chance to kick two or more goals this weekend. The Hawks should be able to beat the Demons this weekend, but the Dees have been losing more often than not anyway and Fritsch has still been kicking a couple of goals a week.

Western Bulldogs vs West Coast Eagles

  • AFL Western Bulldogs

  • AFL West Coast Eagles

17th of August, 4.40pm AEST, Marvel Stadium

Aaron Naughton is in amongst our AFL tips just about every week at the minute, but he just keeps coming through with the goods. The AstroNaught is in career-best form, having booted 29 goals in the past six weeks, with at least five of them in all but one of those games. Betting sites expect him to have yet another big one, but even the lofty expectations they’ve placed upon him might not be enough. The Bulldogs should put up a monster score against the hapless Eagles – we all know they’re as capable as anyone as putting bad teams to the sword – and Naughton will likely be feasting on the carcass of the worst team in the league.
