EPL 2025/26 Multi bet of the Week | Matchweek 6

Rarely has any title been decided after just 5 matches played but there is a feeling that Liverpool have the 2025/26 Premier League campaign in the bank.

The reds were dominant in winning the league last season and with a bucket load of resources at their disposal, they look like the side to beat again – although Crystal Palace should test them this weekend.

Elsewhere, Tottenham will be looking to keep their good start going at home to Wolves, while Arsenal travel up to the North East to take on Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.

Sat inside the top 4 is exactly where Tottenham and Thomas Frank would have wanted to be at this stage in the season and they will be desperate to keep that run going against Wolves here. Spurs have a defensive steel that hasn’t been present in recent times this term and that has given them a platform to build upon in the opening 5 games. They did drop points at Brighton last weekend but came from 2-0 down to clinch a point and they should have too much in the tank for Wolves in this one.

Champions Liverpool have been made to work hard to maintain their 100% record so far this season and this should be another test of their mettle against Crystal Palace. The Eagles did overcome Liverpool in the Community Shield earlier in the campaign and should take heart from that result in this one. However, Palace are missing a couple of key men, while Liverpool are fully fit and firing and with Arne Slot able to rotate his forward line and lose no quality, this should be another important three points for the reds.

St James’s Park, 30th September, 00:30

Arsenal have endured some tough trips to Newcastle in recent times, and this should be another tough one this weekend. Toon aren’t firing on all cylinders as yet this term, but Eddie Howe always sets his sides up well and St James’s Park should be rocking for this one. Arsenal may have only clinched a point against Manchester City last weekend, but it felt like a significant result. Fine margins tend to define games like this and with Arsenal having superior attacking quality, they should pick up an important win here.
