Brisbane Broncos Betting Tips, Odds & Best Bets

No matter which way you cut it, the Broncos are the biggest club in the NRL. In 2024 they saw an enormous spike in membership to become the first club to surpass the 60,000-mark, dwarfing the rest of league for whom the highest membership tally was just over 34,000. They have been an incredibly consistent presence in the finals, failing to qualify just four times between joining the then-NSWRL in 1988 and 2020, and though they’ve nearly doubled that tally over the past few years, they’re dipping their toe back into the mix in 2025.

History of the Brisbane Broncos

The Broncos were founded in 1987 and the next year became the inaugural Queensland-based member of the New South Wales Rugby League premiership. They were a dominant force during the power struggle across different leagues in the ‘90s, winning the Premiership in 1992, 1993 and then in the solitary Super League year in 1997, before again backing that up with a Premiership in the first year of the NRL in 1998. They would go on to add further to their trophy cabinet in 2000 and 2006, but since then the ultimate success has proved elusive, even if they have consistently put themselves in the mix. The Broncos’ odds for this year indicate that they are again in the hunt.
