NRL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week - Grand Final

Our Preliminary Final NRL multi bets could hardly have been looking better at half-time in the second game. The Storm kicked things off by covering the line by a point, leaving us needing a Paul Alamoti try and a Panthers win by 7+ points in the second game. As it turned out, Alamoti scored twice in the first half to lead his team to a 14-0 half-time lead, but unfortunately for the purposes of our second last NRL multi of the week this year, the Broncos stormed home to win their way into the Grand Final. But while that wasn’t great for us, it made for a great spectacle, and sets up what should be a thrilling Grand Final between two quality teams riding a wave of momentum. Below, you can take a look at our final NRL multi bets of season 2025 – which, for Grand Final week, is of course a same gamer.

We’ll start things off with the points total, with some very clear evidence pointing towards the under in this one. As in most sports, defence becomes paramount in games of consequence and there is not a more consequential game on the calendar than this one. The total that betting sites have set for the Granny is a relatively low 40.5 points, but even that looks too high. Harking back all the way to 2008, just three Grand Finals out of 17 have exceeded that number; admittedly a number of them have hit 40 exactly, but even still the average total points in Grand Final is a long way below this line. The Storm and the Broncos can both score, but they’re both strong defensively too and the more defensive style of game which invariably rears its head at this time of year was plain to see in both of their Preliminary Finals; the Storm’s game totalling 36 points and the Broncos’ just 30. Under 40.5 points looks like a great bet for this one.

Now to the result itself. Both of these teams have good reason to feel confident heading into this game; the Storm have been the Premiership favourite with most betting apps – or at least very close to it – for much of the season, while the Broncos come into the game having won six on the trot, including their last three against arguably the best three teams in the business outside of themselves. But while the Broncos won the matchup between these two just a few weeks ago, to say that the Storm have had the wood over them over the past few years is an understatement. Up until a couple of years ago, they’d won 31 of the last 35 against the Broncos, and while history is just that, when it’s that comprehensive it’s hard to imagine it doesn’t play on the mind of both teams. That alone won’t be enough for the Storm to win, but they have been able to rise to the level required when it’s needed all season long, and can once again this year. The Broncos won’t make it easy for them though, which makes the 1-12 margin victory look like a good value bet.

For the last leg of our final group of NRL tips for the season, we’ll take a look at a player prop. Obviously having already put the under points total and a Storm win into the multi, a bet on a Broncos player to score a try might sound counterintuitive, but that is factored into the odds particularly with Bet365, so we’ll get a big boost by adding one of them in. The man I’m opting for is someone who has given us plenty of success this season in Josiah Karapani, a man who has been scoring tries with remarkable consistency. He didn’t manage one against the Panthers last week, but prior to that he’d scored in five games in a row, and nine of 11 this season. Despite that, he’s still paying well over even money to score in the Grand Final, which looks like a great bet to add some serious value as our last NRL multi bet of the year.
