NRL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week – Semi-Finals

After a phenomenal few weeks with our NRL multi bets, last week wasn’t quite so successful, with none of our three legs hitting. We’re still well and truly in the positive over the last month though, with two of our last four hitting, and this weekend we’ll look to make it three from our last five. There are, of course, just three games remaining in the season, so this will be our last NRL multi of the year which isn’t just a same game multi. The action kicks off on Friday night when the Storm host the Sharks, and you can check out our NRL tips for this week’s multi.

We start things off with a good old line bet, banking on the Storm’s finals dominance continuing against a team which, for many years, has been good but not quite good enough to go all the way. The Sharks have, in fairness, been in excellent form, and while their hot form to end the regular season was predominantly against non-finals teams, they’ve been great over the past fortnight against first the Roosters and last week the Raiders. But the Storm in Melbourne is a task very few teams enjoy much success with. The Storm have lost just three games there all season long, and the one time they’ve welcomed the Sharks to the cauldron in 2025 they won 30-6. With the return of Ryan Papenhuyzen and potentially Jahrome Hughes, they are primed to qualify for yet another Grand Final, and look like a good bet to cover the 7.5-point line set by betting sites.

If the betting apps are to be believed, this is the more likely of the two Preliminary Finals to be close, with the in-form Broncos likely to be bolstered by a number of key inclusions hosting the four-time reigning Premiers, who as expected have taken their game to another level in the finals. But rather than banking on a close game, I’m looking at this one as an opportunity to sneak some value into our multi. The Panthers were phenomenal against the Bulldogs last week, putting the game virtually beyond doubt with 36 points in the first half alone. They are looking frightening as they track a fifth straight Premiership, but are just 2.5-point favourites in this game. I’m backing them to flex their collective muscle with a spot in the Grand Final on the line, and win by 7+ at comfortably better than even money.

If the above outcome transpires, there will likely be quite a few names on the scoresheet for the Panthers, and Paul Alamoti seems like as good a chance as any to be one of them. The 21-year-old was brilliant last weekend, scoring three tries in his team’s rout of the Bulldogs, but that was far from an isolated performance in terms of try scoring. That made it six tries in his last four games, but harking back even further, he has now scored at least one try in six of his last seven performances. With nearly even money on offer at Bet365 for him to score in this one, he’s a hard man to ignore.
