NRL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week – Round 21

Just seven weeks remain in the NRL season, and with little separating a lot of teams fighting for finals spots, there is plenty on the line in Round 21. The weekend kicks off with a big game between the Roosters and Storm and concludes with arguably an even bigger one between the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles, and tips in those two games will bookend the NRL multi bet from our resident Australianbettingsites’ rugby expert for this round’s action.

Sydney Roosters vs Melbourne Storm

  • Sydney Roosters
  • Melbourne Storm

24th of July, 7.50pm AEST, Allianz Stadium

This will be a stern test for the Roosters, but it will be made slightly easier by the absence of Cameron Munster. And while the Storm will be tough to score against, one man who looks like great value to do so is James Tedesco.

The 32-year-old is having a terrific season, and after not scoring in his first seven games has begun to find the line with regularity in recent weeks. The Roosters’ fullback has scored a try in five of his last seven games, but betting sites still have him at long odds to do so again in this one, with Bet365 offering particularly good value at nearly $3. Usually I’d prefer to have longer-odds bets as one of the later NRL multi tips to avoid us crashing out on the first leg, but those odds are too good to ignore.

Brisbane Broncos vs Parramatta Eels

  • Brisbane Broncos
  • Parramatta Eels

25th of July, 8.00pm AEST, Suncorp Stadium

Finding likely try scorers is always a lot easier among teams likely to put up a big score, and while betting sites do generally account for that to some extent, there is often still value to be had. The Broncos look like one such team this weekend. On the back of five straight wins and fresh off a bye, they should be looking to put up a big score on the Eels, and there are plenty of players likely to be among the scoring.

Gehamat Shibasaki looks like one of the best value among them. He has been a try scoring machine of late, managing multiple tries in three consecutive games before missing out on the action last weekend. With six tries in his last four games and the Broncos likely to secure a big win against the Eels, he seems more likely than not to find the scoreboard again and at $2.05 with EliteBet, looks like one of the best value NRL tips for the weekend at better than even money.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Manly Sea Eagles

  • Canterbury Bulldogs
  • Manly Sea Eagles

27th of July, 4.05pm AEST, Allianz Stadium

After a couple of value tips earlier in our NRL multi, if we’re still kicking at this point we’ll be in the box seat to secure a nice return. The final clash of the weekend is a pivotal one, and the odds are a lot closer than they might have been a few weeks ago after a strong fortnight for the Sea Eagles and some wobbly recent form from the Bulldogs.

But the fact remains that the Bulldogs are one of the Premiership favourites while the Sea Eagles remain no guarantee of playing finals. The Bulldogs have also been extremely hard to beat at home over the past couple of seasons, boasting a 16-4 home record since the beginning of 2024. The Sea Eagles are capable of making a game of this, but the home team should still be expecting a win and is decent value to do so.
