NRL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week - Round 22

With just six weeks to go in the NRL season, competition for spots in the finals is heating up, and there are a number of games this weekend which will have huge repercussions both for the teams involved in them, and the teams around them. Our NRL multi for the weekend focuses on a couple of those, kicking off with a mammoth clash over in New Zealand on Friday night between the Warriors and the Dolphins.

1st of August, 6.00pm AEST, Go Media Stadium

Friday night’s first clash looms as a really intriguing affair, with the stuttering Warriors trying to hang on to their spot in the top 4 up against a surging Dolphins side attempting to make their inaugural appearance in the NRL finals. Prior to last week’s bye, the Dolphins had been in brilliant form most weeks, putting up scores well in excess of 40 in five of their last seven games.

Despite that, betting sites have installed the Warriors as solid favourites, and that presents some value for the Dolphins. But for our opening NRL multi tip of the week, we’re not focusing on the result itself – we’re focusing on the score. The Warriors are no mugs defensively but they’re far from elite either, and given what the Dolphins have done to opposing defences they look like great value to put up a big score here. betting sites like Bet365 are offering over $3 for them to score 27 points – a number they’ve reached easily and often of late – which looks like a great way to start our multi.

Gold Coast Titans vs Penrith Panthers

  • NRL Panthers
    Penrith Panthers

2nd of August, 3.00pm AEST, Cbus Super Stadium

Given that they have won the last four Premierships, it’s no secret that the Panthers know how to construct a season. That’s not to say they came out and deliberately lost five of their first six games, but few are surprised that they are looking increasingly ominous as the season has worn on.

In recent weeks they have had a really cushy draw of which they have taken full advantage, and that should continue this weekend. The Titans were excellent last weekend but remain a bottom-tier team – the fourth such side in a row the Panthers have beaten. The last three they have beaten by an average of over 25 points and at least 20 points each, so they look like one of the better NRL tips for the weekend to win by 20 or more points again.

Wests Tigers vs Canterbury Bulldogs

  • NRL West Tigers
    Wests Tigers
  • NRL Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
    Canterbury Bulldogs

3rd of August, 2.00pm AEST, CommBank Stadium

The first couple of NRL multi bets legs for the week are both at well over even money, which gives us a bit of space to round things out with something a bit shorter, and still build a multi with a solid payout. And the Tigers vs Bulldogs game at CommBank Stadium looks like an ideal target.

The Tigers have increasingly struggled as the season has worn on, and while they beat the Titans just a couple of weeks ago, faced with superior opposition in the Panthers lats weekend they were absolutely pummelled. The Bulldogs will be another very stern test. Admittedly the Dogs have not been at their best of late, but they found something last week with a thumping win over the Sea Eagles, and look like a sure thing to win by at least 7 points over the Tigers.
