NRL 2025 Multi Bet of the Week - Round 27

We enjoyed a big win with our Round 26 NRL multi bet of the week, with both the Dolphins and Broncos putting up big scores and Ethan Strange scoring against the Tigers to hit on a massive multi paying $13.08. If you got on that one, you’re very welcome, and if not, hopefully we can make it two from two with another successful multi at decent odds. This week’s first two NRL multi bets focus on in-form players for in-form teams, before we hone in on what should be a high-scoring game to round things out. Check out all the bets below.

Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

5th of September, 8.00pm, Allianz Stadium

The Roosters’ sparkling form of late has been in no small part due to their offensive firepower, with three scores of 30+ in their last four games. Plenty of players have contributed to those numbers, with 32-year-old skipper James Tedesco one of them. He’s scored four tries in his last four games, but harking back a lot further he’s crossed the line in eight of his last 13 games, a rate of over 60%. With the Roosters facing a favourable matchup against the Bunnies in which they will likely score plenty of points once again, the Roosters captain looks much more likely to score than not in this one. Despite that, betting sites like Bet365 are offering virtually even money for him to do so, odds which are too good to pass up.

St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Penrith Panthers

  • NRL Panthers
    Penrith Panthers

6th of September, 3.00pm, GIO Stadium

Speaking of players in good form, let’s talk Casey McLean. The logic here is pretty similar to the above regarding Tedesco; the Panthers had been winning at a rate of knots for some time (at least up until the last few weeks), and McLean played a major role in the heavy scoring they were doing particularly between Rounds 20 and 23. He scored six tries in those four games before missing out in the four-point loss to the Raiders, then scoring again in the ensuing four-point loss to the Storm. He was subsequently rested last week, but is set to return for this game having scored in five of his last six games. With a comfortable win likely for the Panthers, the near-even money odds offered by some betting apps for him to score in this game look very juicy.

Dolphins vs Canberra Raiders

    Dolphins
  • NRL Raiders
    Canberra Raiders

7th of September, 2.00pm, Kayo Stadium

Tempting as it was to go for a third player prop to round out this week’s NRL multi bet, I’ve instead settled on what should be a high-scoring game primarily thanks to the home team. The Dolphins just can’t stop scoring, or conceding, of late, with their run over the past month particularly striking when it comes to points totals. Each of their last four games has yielded at least 66 points, with the average points total in that time a whopping 74. The line for this one is set pretty high at 53.5, but based on the way they’ve been playing of late that won’t be nearly enough. Most of the scoring will likely be done by the Dolphins with the Raiders resting plenty of top-tier players having already secured top spot, but the Dolphins defence has been leaky to say the least of late so the Raiders should still put up a decent total themselves, helping this one tick comfortably past the over.
