A close finish saw this runner take second place last start. Ole Dancer ran at Sandown-Hillside on 27/09/2025, finishing 2nd in a 1400m event. Caulfield Racecourse and this runner have been good before. She really loves the conditions that this track offers. Tends to hit the mark just as often as it misses.

Biggest Threat (Danger): Apocalyptic

Placed in the top three in its last three starts, Apocalyptic is proving to be a consistent contender. A true master over 1600m - hasn't been beaten yet and unlikely to start now. More wins than most - one to take seriously. Expect another strong showing on a good track at Caulfield. Proven performer on good tracks, recording 100% wins and 100% placings from 3 starts.

Value Play: Ferivia

Showed class and determination to win last race. Ferivia raced recently, placing 1st in a 1400m event at Sandown-Hillside. This track is a favourite of Ferivia, and with a perfect record, it’s hard to see anything stopping her. Strong history on good tracks, making it a major player in this race.

He ran a solid fourth last race, giving an honest performance. Last start performance, Private Eye came 4th over 1600m at Randwick. Perfect record at the Caulfield track, expect another bold run.

Value Play: Media World

Produced a winning effort last start and looks primed to do it again. Media World raced at Flemington last start, covering 1400m and finishing 1st. Has had success at 1400m before, could be a factor again. Competitive at the trip, placing in 66.7% of 6 starts, with 3 wins. Winless at Caulfield - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be race to do it.

Last race winner, showing excellent form leading into this event. Last start, Royal Supremacy finished in the placings over 2400m at Randwick on 04/10/2025. Has won at this trip before, can do it again I think.

Value Play: Middle Earth

Missed the top four in his last run but showed enough to suggest a stronger performance is near. Middle Earth stepped out at Flemington on 04/10/2025, finishing 9th over 2000m. Solid strike rate at this trip (2400m), should be competitive. Still looking for its first win at the Caulfield track.
