Biggest Threat (Danger): Zardozi

Struggled to land in the top four last race, yet displayed moments of promise. This trip of 1500m suits perfectly, proven performer time and time again.

Value Play: Anisette

Last race didn’t yield a top-four placing, but the run hinted at better to come. Anisette stepped out at Caulfield on 16/08/2025, finishing 6th over 1400m.

Top Tip (Best Bet): Esha

As a third-time starter, Esha is building on its earlier performances and gaining confidence. Esha raced at Moonee Valley last start, covering 1000m and finishing 1st. Unbeaten at this trip - knows exactly how to get the job done over 1000m. Distance stats: 2-0-0, with a win rate of 100% and a place rate of 100%. Moonee Valley Racecourse and this runner have been good before. She really loves the conditions that this track offers. A dominant force, never losing a race yet. He has placed in three consecutive races and will look to continue the momentum. Last start performance, La Fracas came 1st over 1200m at Flemington. Perfect record over this distance (1200m), loves every step of it. Handles the distance well, boasting 5 wins from 5 runs. Half of its races end in victory - that’s a solid stat. Won on a soft track before, no reason it can’t do it again. Has experience on soft tracks, with a career 50% win percentage and a 50% place percentage.

Biggest Threat (Danger): King Zephyr

Finished beyond the top four last start, but could be poised for a better effort. 1200m distance suits - right in the mix.

Value Play: Princess Que

Outstanding performance in its last start. Princess Que raced recently, placing 1st in a 1200m event at Sandown-Lakeside. At this track, the record is positive. Familiarity with the Moonee Valley track should give her an advantage. Knows how to handle some cut in the ground, so expect a fair showing.
