I reckon this one will be tough for Miracle Spin to win, but a top-three finish is certainly on the cards for the 7YO. He looks to be one of the top choices in this one, and at $2.70 just to place, those are odds I can’t pass up on. The 1,800m looks ideal, and he has placed twice in three attempts at this distance, and he gets weight relief thanks to apprentice jockey Rose Hammond.

Heading to Randwick now, and I like the look of United Kingdom as the favourite in Race 5. Last time out, he won at Rosehill, in a BM72, and now he steps up to a BM78, which looks well within his grasp. He has had a tick over trial since then and looks ready to go. JMac sticks with him here, and the pair have a lot of options from barrier seven.

I’ve got my eyes on Tentyris for the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington today. After what he did in the Gothic Stakes last time out, it’s hard to ignore. I expect he’ll improve further from that run, and Mark Zahra sticks with him as well. Zahra has also been on fire as of late, so I’m expecting big things from the pair today.
