Quick Analysis:

Starman has had some tough races as of late, and while he hasn’t managed a top-three finish, he still held his own. Now, he gets back to mid-week racing, so he should enjoy an easier assignment. The Chris Waller-trained gelding gets James McDonald in the saddle, and I think he is clearly the one to beat.

Heading to the last at Ipswich now, and Zoufani looks pretty good in my eyes. The mare was victorious last time out at Eagle Farm across the same distance, and before that, she finished second also at Eagle Farm and over the same distance. She won her maiden here at Ipswich, and she draws barrier one. There’s a lot to like.

Wrapping things up in the final at Sandown today, and Silver Magnate has caught my eye. The second emergency has gained entry into this one thanks to several scratchings. The 5YO is two from two so far in his career, including a win at this track last time out. Jockey Jordan Childs sticks with him once again, and he’s ready to step up in grade.
