I like the look of the current favourite, Moonlight Circus, for this one. She kicked this prep off with a win at Pakenham Synthetic. That win was followed up by a second at Flemington. She wasn’t able to run with Em Sixty in that one, but the form around the race stacks up well. She gets a claim at the weights as well.

Heading to Canterbury now, and I think Seven’s looks like the best play in the race, especially at each-way odds. The lightly raced gelding has a career record of 5:2-0-2, and has trailed well as of late. Draws well for this one and looks to be one that can handle the Heavy track.

In the last at Sandown, Justadeel looks the horse to beat. The gelding finished just 0.1L off the pace in second last time out at the same track, and I think he’ll appreciate the extra 100m he’ll get in this race. Draws the widest of them all, but that doesn’t look to be too much of an issue, as he likes to settle back and strike late.
