Quick Analysis:

Kicking my tips off today in Kempsey, and it’s hard to go past the favourite, Swift Charm, in the Kempsey Cup. The 8YO didn’t do too much the first time out this prep, but showed he was back in form with a solid second placing last time out at Grafton on a Heavy8 track. That was in a BM74, and he looks ripe to go one better today.

Quick Analysis:

There are a few live chances in this one at Hamilton, but my money will be on Bow Ribbon, who is currently on the third line of betting. At $4.80, the gelding presents more value and upside than some of his competitors. He has been good enough so far this prep, but hasn’t been able to get that all-important win. I think he can break through today.

Quick Analysis:

There have been a whole bunch of scratchings in this one so far, but the favourite, Altermatum, is still the one to beat in my eyes. Comes into this one third-up, with back-to-back placings so far this prep. Going back further, the mare hasn’t missed the top three in 10 races (February 2024!). Gets another crack at BM66 level, and should be able to handle the Soft-rated track.

    Astral Flame impressed with a strong last-start win in solid company. She’ll have to overcome a tricky draw, but she's well placed to go back-to-back in Race 7 at Pakenham.
