French Navy is already a winner at Warrambool this prep, and that was raced under similar conditions. So, the gelding is the top pick in my eyes. Last time out, he finished second last, but I think he’ll enjoy being back at Warrambool. He’s currently going around as the favourite, but at $3.00, there’s a smidge of value still there.

Quick Analysis:

With back-to-back wins at Hamilton and then Warrnambool last time out, it’s difficult to knock the form of Bergasun. His win last time out was over the same distance as well. Draws decently enough, in barrier five, and gets in reasonably well at the weights. There’s a lot to like about the 4YO, and I think he can get the job done.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to the last at Grafton now, and I’m liking the look of Bandasha in this one. The gelding hasn’t raced since March, but has had multiple trials since then. He is now racing at a non-metro level and is the narrow $3.70 favourite in a fairly open field. He also has a decent enough first-up record, currently sitting at 4: 2-0-0.
