After three second placings, Meisho managed to break through for her maiden win last time out at Warracknabeal. She goes straight from that one to a BM64 here at Sandown. I’ve found another decent each-way play, this time at Canterbury. The gelding already has multiple wins at BM72 level, one of which was across the same track/ trip he lines up in again today. The track is currently in the Good range, but with the rain around, that might change, and any rain works in his favour.

It’s a big field for this one, and Zambardo needs one more scratching and he has made it into the starting blocks. After kicking off his career with back-to-back thirds and a second, he managed to break his maiden last time out. His second placing came here at this track, and on that occasion, he finished just 0.15L off the leader.
