Fresh off his maiden win last time out at Kembla Grange, I think Patissier can perform here and go back-to-back. He is the favourite in what looks like a race with several live chances. Draws wide, but on a Heavy-rated track, that probably looks like the place to be.

Taking on the favourite, Golden Century, here with Sirius Legend. He was a little disappointing last time out, when finishing second as the favourite. But he does step down to a non-metro level and has a tick over trial since then. Everything seems to be in working order.

There are a lot of live chances in this one, so I’m playing it safe and taking Little Bighorn as an each-way play. The gelding won first up this prep to break his maiden at Pakenham Synthetic, but finished middle of the pack last time out. Brad Rawiller sticks with him again, as he has the entire prep, which is a good sign.
