Looking to kick things off early, with Bel Lupa in Race 1 at Seymour. She’s going around at good place odds at the moment, and with back-to-back second placings to kick off her career, I think she can make it three from three. Jamie Mott returns to the saddle after riding Bel Lupa in her first career run. The wide barrier is the only query.

Sticking with the favourite, Camber Of Secrets, for this one. The 3YO gets the gun draw and looks primed for a win after just missing out as the favourite last time out. She opened at $2.60, and I think she is only going to shorten, so get while the going is good. She should be breaking her maiden this time out and can atone for her last run.

Keepsake couldn’t get the job done last time out as the even-money favourite, but she’s another that I think looks set to atone, so I’ll be giving her another chance. I think the race style in this one is set up a bit better, and Luke Currie sticks with her for the third run in a row. The pair already have a winning combination, winning two runs back.
