Ticklebelly looks very well suited in this field, especially after coming from a third placing at Randwick. There have already been a few scratchings in this one, which only improves her chances. She gets the services of Pierre Boudvillain again, and the pair have a 4:2-0-0 record. She is the deserved favourite.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to Canterbury now, and I like the look of Written Scandal. We get a small field here, and the mare will be carrying the lightest weight, thanks to a claim with Braith Nock. Nock and Written Scandal have a good record together as well, 3:2-0-0. Didn’t do much going around as a $10 pop last time out, but this looks like an easier task.

In Race 3 at the Sunshine Coast, I’ll be on Shako, who is currently the narrow favourite. He’s another that gets a weight claim, thanks to apprentice jockey Leah Martyn. Plus, the pair haven’t finished outside the top two in four attempts. They will have a lot of options from barrier three, and he is clearly the one to beat in my eyes.
