I’m putting him down as my best bet of the day, especially if he can replicate his effort from Scone last prep, where he won. Tackles this one second-up as well.

Quick Analysis:

Some Style has a bit of money come her way, and she is now hovering around the even-money market. Finally managed to break her maiden last time out after four second placings and two third placings in nine attempts. She was quite speedy in that one, winning by almost 2L. The step up in distance shouldn’t be any issue, and Ben Thompson sticks.

I’m sticking with the favourite here in Race 6 at Pakenham. He has to lug around the top weight, but with the way he has been going through the gears so far this prep, that shouldn’t be any issue. Last time out, he finished third, less than a length off the pace, in a BM70. He drops back to a BM66 for this one, where he has already had success.
