Quick Analysis:

Palatial Prince is a little forgotten in the market, but I reckon he is worth a chance based on his previous performance, especially for a top-three finish. The gelding finished second at Rockhampton, just 0.41L off the leader. Jockey Hannah Richardson is back in the saddle, and the pair have a 12:2-2-3 record together. One of the more competitive runners, I think.

Quick Analysis:

Have to stick with the favourite here, who is currently going around at even money. Shenandoah River broke her maiden here at Scone last time out. She draws barrier one, which is ideal, and the drop down to 900m shouldn’t be any issue either. She should be controlling this one all the way through again.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to the last at Kyneton, and I think I’ve found a decent each-way play with Shanghai Venture, who is currently on the third line of betting with Dabble. She gets no favours with the wide draw, but is a winner (and multiple placegetter) this prep. She’ll have to carry extra weight, but a top-three finish is certainly within reach.
