After a third placing in his first career run last time out at Eagle Farm, I think Subterrain can get into the winner’s stall this time out. He goes down to a non-metro race, and that’s why we’re getting even money for the 4YO. He does draw wide for this one, but hopefully that means he can stay out of trouble in what is a reasonably sized field.

This will be Cool Rupert’s third career run, and he has been fairly successful so far without managing to get a win. Heading to Horsham now for the Horsham Cup, and a few runners are sitting around the $4.00 to $5.00 mark. I like the look of I Am The Empire, which presents decent value at $5.00.The gelding is coming off a BM74 win at Moonee Valley, and he finished third in his run before that in the Benalla Cup. Jockey Ryan Houston retains the ride.
