Fairway Star is the current narrow favourite with Dabble, but the mare is still going around at decent enough each-way odds. She has been there or thereabouts in most of her runs so far this prep, including a win last time out in a BM72. This race is also a BM72, at the same track and trip as her previous win, so there’s a lot to like.

Another each-way play is on the cards with Documentary in Race 7 at Sandown. The gelding tackles this one third-up, and I think the 1,000m he got first-up was too short. Last time out, he was at the 1,100m, and today he’s at the 1,200m. He was disappointing in that run, but he did pull up lame and looks ready to atone.
