Ghaznavi was in with a massive shout last time out, in a BM58, when going around with odds of $5.00. He ended up going down by just 0.05L in that way at Tamworth. This one is also a BM58, and it’s run at 1,600m, so he is the deserved favourite in my eyes.

While $1.50 doesn’t exactly scream value, it’s difficult to go past Zambardo in this one today at Pakenham Synthetic. Only just went down last time out at Sandown Lakeside across 1,600m, finishing in second place by 0.15L. His two other career runs have resulted in third placings. Looks primed to break through here.

In the last today at Pakenham Synthetic, I’ve found a nice each-way play with Intriguing State. There are a couple of live chances in this one, but his run two back at Bairnsdale really impressed me, winning by 3L. He backed that up with a second place last time out, by 1.25L in a BM58. He has a good chance to get his second career win here.
