Grand Eagle is looking for the hat trick of wins here at Randwick-Kensington. He is first up here, and the last time we saw him was back in April. The Heavy track is an unknown, but this looks to be an easier battle compared to what he has competed in previously. JMac saddles up, which is a big plus.

Mr Verse is the favourite in what looks to be somewhat of an open field. The 4YO must carry the top weight, but does get a 2kg claim, thanks to apprentice jockey Logan Bates. Last time out, he finished third, just 0.16L off the pace at Rosehill. Been freshened up for this one, and he should prove too good in the end.

Heading to Doomben and in the last, I like the look of Rock The Sunrise, who is going around at decent odds. The 4YO had decent closing speed last time out at Eagle Farm, but was too far back, and had to settle for fourth, 2.86L off the pace. He goes up to 1,350m now, which suits as he is two from two over this trip.
