Rip 'N' Rip kicked his prep off last time out in the best possible way, with a win in a BM64 by 0.5L. With a career record of 9: 2-4-1, the 6YO is fairly lightly raced. He goes up in the grades in this one, to a BM64, but he is ready. The deserved favourite in my eyes.

Siding with the favourite in Race 4 at Warwick Farm today. The gelding books the services of James McDonald, which only improves his chances. Jumping from barrier two is another plus, but we will have to see how rain-affected the track is later in the afternoon. The mile looks suitable, and he should dispatch this field with ease.

Looking to have an each-way play on Zakouma in the last at Sandown. The gelding is tackling this one fourth up and should be all the fitter now for those runs under his belt. He kicked off this prep with a win at Geelong to break his maiden. Jordan Childs retains the ride, and they’ll need one more scratching to get into the race.
