It’s a fairly open affair for the Group Three McNeil Stakes, but there is something about Jimmy Recard, and he is currently the equal-favourite. The colt has completed the hat-trick of wins and is looking to make it four in a row here. Watch the weather, and if the track goes into the Soft range, that only improves his chances.

What an open field we have for the 2025 Memsie Stakes. I think Treasurethe Moment is worth an each-way play in the field of 11. The mare will carry the lightest weight and jumps from the gun draw. We haven’t seen her since she won the Group One Australian Oaks in April, but her recent jumpout shows she’s ready to extend her current four-race win streak.
