Quick Analysis:

Quite a few scratchings in this one, courtesy of the Heavy track. It will be interesting to see how Ruska Roma goes, but she ticks a lot of boxes and is the deserved favourite. Opened up her career with a third at Pakenham, and she has had two decent trials since then. Gets the inside draw, which should be a massive help.

There’s a bit of value around Crossoverkid, who is the favourite, but is currently going around with odds of $3.60. The gelding went around as the favourite last time out at Seymour as well, but went down, finishing second by just 0.35L. He can atone here, and I think he’s good enough to overcome the wide barrier.

Found myself what looks like a nice each-way play in the last today at Wyong with All Too Wild. It’s a bit of an open field as well, so I’m more than willing to take a chance on the mare. Last time out, she finished second at this track and trip. She draws wide for this one, but carries the lowest weight, so she’s in with a decent shout.
