In his second career run, I think Pull My Finger can do enough to break his maiden. Last time out, he wasn’t too far off the pace, finishing just 0.75L off the winner in second place at Ballarat. He gets some options from barrier one as well. There’s a lot to like, and I think he can give the favourite a run for his money.

Heading to Wagga now, and there are currently two equal favourites, Kotaishi and Sonic Scene. I’ll be siding with Kotaishi for this one, and with back-to-back third placings, I think now is the time he can chalk up his second career win. He has to carry the top weight, and based on what his competitors have been doing as of late, he looks like the standout pick.

There are a few live chances in this one, but I have to side with the favourite, Jealous, who is currently paying $3.20, so there’s enough value there. The mare has switched to the Mark Walker barn and has produced solid results since. Last time out, she raced at Cranbourne, and she gets a weight claim, thanks to apprentice jockey Luke Cartwright.
