Doomben, Race 2 - 10. One Beat No Beat 

There’s a lot of upside to this mare, who is three weeks between runs. Last time out at this track/ trip, she finished fourth and finished strongly. Gets another go at the same track/ trip, and I think she’ll be right in the hunt this time out, with a top-three finish certainly on the cards.

She only has to carry 53kg on her back, which is among the lightest in the field. Draws well and will likely settle midfield. She just needs the right gap at the right time, and she can peel off down the straight. At $1.70 right now just to place with Bet Right, there’s a lot to like.

Randwick, Race 3 - 5. Home Invasion 

The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott barn rarely gets fillies wrong, and I think we’ve found a good one here with Home Invasion, who is on her debut today. We’ve only officially seen her at the trials, where she nailed an easy win at Kensington. We usually see an open field with these types of races, so there’s value here.

Home Invasion looks to be one of the more classy runners in the field, though, and to put things over the top, she draws barrier one. PlayUp is currently offering $5.00 for the filly to win, but for this multi, let's play it safe and take her at place odds, which is at the $2.00 mark.

Flemington, Race 6 - 6. Rosberg

Rosberg kicked his career off in the best way possible, winning the Listed McKenzie Stakes. That field wasn’t exactly an easy one to beat, so bigger and better things are certainly on the cards for this 3YO. He is straight into a Group Two today, in the Danehill Stakes.

There’s a lot to like about the colt, and he has already had a jumpout here at Flemington. He is the most inexperienced runner in the field, but he does draw well and could be in for a big race. You can pick up Rosberg for the place at PlayUp with odds of $1.75.
