Best Horse Racing Multi Bets for Today

It’s Cox Plate Day, and there’s also high-quality action right across the nation. All your horse racing multi bets are sorted right here.

Today’s the day. Our horse racing multi tips have just landed at bettingsitesaustralia.net.au. Our experts have taken the time to go through some of the biggest races of the day and put together their best three-leg multi. We offer more horse racing tips as well, so make sure you check out everything that we have to offer.

Multi Bet Tip

Today’s multi includes my three most confident plays of the day. I’ve used Bet Right for the odds this time out, as they are known to offer some of the most competitive in the market.

LegsOdds
1. Lindermann (Randwick, Race 6)$1.55 (Win)
2. Shangri La Boy (Randwick, Race 8)$1.70 (Place)
1. Observer (Moonee Valley, Race 9)$1.70 (Win)
Total Odds: $4.48
Bet $10 for a $44.80 Payout with Bet Right

win

Randwick, Race 6 - 1. Lindermann

In a race with just seven competitors, Lindermann is the clear standout pick, and while he is going around at skinny odds of $1.60 with PlayUp, he acts as the perfect opening leg of this multi. Last time out, we saw the gelding win the Hill Stakes (Group Two) by over 2L.

Jockey Nash Rawiller, who has been on board for all runners in his campaign, retains the ride. His racing style matches up pretty well for this one as well. This seems to be a copy and paste of his last run. He’ll probably land near the front and take a lot of catching down the straight.

win

Randwick, Race 8 - 2. Shangri La Boy

With back-to-back wins at Randwick Racecourse, Shangri La Boy looks to be going through the gears very nicely. From a maiden victory straight to a Group Three victory, the young boy gets his shot at ultimate glory in a Group One. Nash Rawiller takes the saddle for the first time, which shows intent.

Shangri La Boy draws barrier two, which works well in his favour. He’ll easily be able to push forward and sit in an ideal position, waiting for the perfect time to show off his speed down the straight. He is the equal-favourite with Attica at PlayUp, and I’ll be taking him to place at $1.60, just to be safe.

win

Moonee Valley, Race 9 - 1. Observer

Late in the day at Moonee Valley, I can’t go past Observer, who is the heavy favourite. The colt impressed when finishing third in the Group One Caulfield Guineas last time out. That was his first crack at Group One level, and he arguably should have finished closer to the leader after being held up on the straight.

His breeding suggests he’ll eat up the 2,040m, and with a few scratchings already, it only improves his chances. At set weights once again, I reckon he will be too hard to hold out in the dying stages, and he is due for a little bit of luck. The 3YO is currently paying $1.70 with Bet Right to claim the win.

Stats and Insights

  • tip
Defensemen showed promise with a sharp trial win and boasts an impressive pedigree. He is an expensive colt with upside who looks ready in Race 1 at Randwick.
  • tip
Direct Fire has been competing well in stronger Midway company and now drops in grade with a handy claim. He finds the right setup and should bounce back in Race 1 at Kembla Grange.
  • tip
First Encounter did enough fresh to suggest he’s ready to fire. With four wins from 13 starts and a strong first-up run to build from, he shapes up as a solid play in Race 2 at Ascot.
  • tip
Salty Pearl backs up quickly after a brave fourth in the Thousand Guineas and drops in grade here. She looks the one to beat in Race 4 at Moonee Valley.
