My multi for today covers some of the biggest races and includes some of the runners I am most confident in. For this week’s multi, I have used Bet Right for the odds, as I find they usually have some of the best going around.

Randwick, Race 6 - 5. She’s Unusual

Kicking off my multi for today is She’s Unusual, who was very impressive last time out, winning at Randwick in a BM78 by 1.68L. This one is over the same track and trip, and she draws well for this one, jumping from barrier two. 

She does get a 3kg penalty in this race, but gets a 2kg claim thanks to apprentice jockey Benjamin Osmond, so they almost cancel each other out. The mare is currently going around with odds of $3.10 with PlayUp.

Caulfield, Race 8 - 3. Baraqiel

I really like the look of Baraqiel in the Group Three, Bletchingly Stakes. The gelding has only missed the top three once in his career, and he boasts a record of 10:6-0-3. He is already a winner at Group Two level, and his one missed top-three finish came in a Group One.

Tackles this one first up, and his jump-outs have been pretty decent, so it’s no wonder he is the current pre-race favourite with Bet Right, at odds of $2.90. Draws barrier one and looks to have that little bit of class compared to this small field.

Caulfield, Race 9 - 11. True To Form

Staying at Caulfield for the final leg of my multi, and I’m siding with True To Form for a place bet. Last time out, he finished second at Caulfield over the same distance as he gets in this one. On that day, he was 1.25L off the pace.

The less rain, the better for True To Form, as he doesn’t have the best Soft/ Heavy record. He does, however, have a good record at this distance, placing twice in three attempts. True To Form is paying $2.25 to place with PlayUp.
