Let’s get stuck into my multi for today, which comes across multiple tracks. I have also used PlayUp for the odds, as I find they usually offer some of the best horse racing odds going around.

Sandown, Race 4 - 1. King Zephyr 

First up, we are at Sandown, and I like the look of King Zephyr in Race 4. The Grahame Begg-trained gelding finished third first-up at Moonee Valley in early September. Jordan Childs retained the ride, and the jockey/ trainer partnership is looking pretty good, with five wins from seven starts.

I think the 5YO will enjoy the Sandown track once again, and he has already won at this track twice so far this year. He is going around as the favourite, but he certainly deserves that title, and you can pick him up with odds of $2.30 with PlayUp. Not a big field as well, which works in his favour.

Rosehill, Race 7 - 1. Manaal

It’s a big day in Rosehill today, and in the Group Two Golden Pendant, I’m going with Manaal. After a tough run first-up in the Group Three Cockram Stakes, she bounced back nicely last time out. She graced the winner’s stall, winning the Group Two Sheraco Stakes, also at Rosehill. 

She found her gears nicely in that one, and I don’t think the extra 200m here will be an issue. Jockey Tommy Berry steps into the saddle for this one, and he’ll need to be on his A-game, as Manaal must lug the top weight. She’ll also face stiff competition, but at the $2.90 mark with Bet Right, there’s enough in there to add her to my multi.

Belmont, Race 6 - 6. Emerald Trader

For the final leg of my multi, we’re off to Belmont, and I’ll be on Emerald Trader. He’s up against a big field, but at $3.10 place odds with PlayUp, there’s a bit of value about him. He hasn’t exactly had the best of luck, but it’s his determination that has caught my eye.

He tackles this one fourth-up, and he looks to be building nicely, so I think a top-three finish is certainly on the table. Last time out, he finished fifth, 2.71L off the pace, also at Belmont, but that run showed merit, and he does get some weight relief against some of the key rivals in this one.
