In top form this Saturday, James McDonald has a knack for getting the best out of their horses. Could be another winning run. Still looking for its first win at the Eagle Farm track.

Quietness - Showed plenty of heart to finish third last run, running on well late. Quietness raced at Randwick last start, covering 1600m and finishing 3rd. Jockey Tommy Berry gets the ride on Saturday. They're a talented jockey with a nice race sense.

Value Play:

Pulchritudinous - Last outing, Pulchritudinous took on a 1600m race at Eagle Farm and finished 7th. Jockey Tim Clark will ride this runner. This jockey is known for his ability to time the run perfectly. Despite no wins yet at Eagle Farm, Pulchritudinous has had some solid performances here.

Andrew Mallyon will guide Rising Pacific and given their record, they’ll give the horse every chance to shine. Has experience at this track, with a 40% win percentage and 7 placings.

Value Play:

Demon Darb - A finish outside the top four in its last race, but potential remains for a better showing next time. Good enough in soft conditions, but faces some tough competition on Saturday. On board Demon Darb will be Emily Lang, one of my favourite jockeys to bet on. Solid strike rate at this trip (1600m), should be competitive. Handles the distance well, boasting 4 wins from 8 runs. Solid record at this track, winning 3 times from 7 runs.

Zaszou - Showed class and determination to win last race. On 07/06/2025, Zaszou lined up at Eagle Farm, finishing 1st over 1200m. With Ryan Maloney on board, expect a tactically astute ride this Saturday. This jockey always brings out the best in their horse. Proven over the distance, recording a 50 win percentage from 4 starts. Perfect record at the Eagle Farm track, expect another bold run.

Value Play:

Adiella - Coming off an eye-catching win in its most recent run. Adiella raced recently, placing 1st in a 1600m event at Eagle Farm. On Saturday, Nikita Beriman will be guiding Adiella. Known for their precision, this combination should perform well.

Rachel King will go up against the top favourites in the Tiara with Abounding at a big price. That would be a nice pay-day. I like the look of her top favourite, The Inflictor in the race before that.
