Biggest Threat (Danger):

Tuned - Didn’t place in the top four, but certain aspects of the run suggested improvement is coming. Excels when the track has some give in it, making it a key contender. Has experience on soft tracks, with a career 75% win percentage and a 75% place percentage.

Value Play:

Lutetia - Finished outside the top four, but had some encouraging moments in the race. An occasional winner, will Saturday be one of those times? Last time out, Lutetia competed over 1200m, placing 7th at Eagle Farm.

Top Tip (Best Bet):

Diablo Bolt - He ran a solid fourth last race, giving an honest performance. Last start performance, Diablo Bolt came 4th over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Good enough in soft conditions, but faces some tough competition on Saturday.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Miss Joelene - Finished beyond the top four last start, but could be poised for a better effort. Last outing, Miss Joelene took on a 1600m race at Eagle Farm and finished 9th. Jockey Cejay Graham is looking sharp ahead of Saturday. With their keen eye and strong race judgment, they’ll be a key factor.

Value Play:

Poetic Drama - Didn’t place in the top four, but certain aspects of the run suggested improvement is coming. Poetic Drama competed at Eagle Farm over 1600m, finishing 6th. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Ipswich on Saturday.

Top Tip (Best Bet):

Warnie - Showed plenty of heart to finish third last run, running on well late. Warnie raced at Eagle Farm last start, covering 1200m and finishing 3rd. On Saturday, Regan Bayliss will be guiding Warnie. Known for their precision, this combination should perform well.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Rockribbed - Decent strike rate on soft tracks. Handles soft ground well, boasting 4 wins from 8 runs. Not a standout at this trip (1350m) but has the ability to surprise. This track is a favourite of Rockribbed, and with a perfect record, it’s hard to see anything stopping him.

Value Play:

Oughton - Came in beyond the top four last start, but still showing signs of promise. On 07/06/2025, Oughton lined up at Eagle Farm, finishing 5th over 1200m. Jockey Robbie Dolan gets the ride on Saturday. They're a talented jockey with a solid race sense. Strong record at this distance of 1350m, wins more often than not. At this trip, holds a record of 3-0-0, with 3 wins.

Regan Bayliss heads to Ipswich with plenty of quality runners. Watch out for Warnie in Race 8 and Gerringong in the next race. That could offer a nice multi.
