Saturday Horse Racing Tips – Randwick 21/06/2025

I've got your betting needs sorted on Saturday with some free Horse racing tips to get a load of at Randwick. For my best bet of the day, it has to be Sounds Unusual in Race 5 at Randwick. Also, for my cheeky value play, I've got my eye locked on Defining in Race 10 at Randwick. Runners should enjoy pretty good conditions on Saturday, the track surface is a soft 6 but that could improve. Happy punting!

Top Tip (Best Bet):

Sounds Unusual - Sounds Unusual has demonstrated remarkable consistency, placing in three straight races. Sounds Unusual competed at Warwick Farm over 1600m, finishing 1st. Jockey Nash Rawiller will ride this runner. This jockey is known for his ability to time the run perfectly.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Miss Kim Kar - She held his ground for fourth last time out, proving tough to pass. Last time out, Miss Kim Kar competed over 1600m, placing 4th at Randwick. At this track, the record is positive. Familiarity with the Randwick track should give her an advantage.

Value Play:

Barbray - Proved too strong in the previous race. Barbray raced at Canterbury last start, covering 1550m and finishing 1st. Has had success at 1600m before, could be a factor again. Handles this soft track rating perfectly - winning is just what it does.

Top Tip (Best Bet):

Raikkonen - He came home fourth last race, keeping in close company with the leaders. On 04/06/2025, Raikkonen lined up at Doomben, finishing 4th over 1350m. Jockey Anna Roper will be in the saddle this Saturday. Has a great winning strike rate. Fifty-fifty record, so it’s always in the mix.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Oh Diamond Lil - She struggled to make the top four last start, but showed glimpses of ability. Oh Diamond Lil ran at Randwick on 07/06/2025, finishing 9th in a 1400m event. 1400m distance suits - right in the mix. Has had some good results at Randwick, so she has the ability to perform well again.

Value Play:

Defining - A result outside the top four last race, but there’s room for progress. Last start performance, Defining came 5th over 1300m at Warwick Farm. With Dylan Gibbons on board, expect a tactically astute ride this Saturday. This jockey always brings out the best in their horse.

Top Tip (Best Bet):

Kerguelen - Last-start winner, coming into this with confidence. Kerguelen raced recently, placing 1st in a 1200m event at Rosehill. Zac Lloyd brings solid experience to the saddle this Saturday. This trip of 1200m suits perfectly, proven performer time and time again. Proven over the distance, recording a 100 win percentage from 2 starts. Hasn’t won at Randwick yet, but might be ready to change that.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Accredited - A finish beyond the top four last run, yet still showing promise for upcoming runs. Accredited stepped out at Sandown-Hillside on 24/05/2025, finishing 9th over 1400m. Knows the Randwick track well and has won here before.

Value Play:

Fully Lit - He secured fourth last start, just outside the top three but still strong. Last outing, Fully Lit took on a 1200m race at Rosehill and finished 4th. He thrives on this track - a real specialist here, always delivering.

Nash is one of my favourite jockeys to follow, and this Saturday should be no exception. Accredited is one of my threats, and Nash could get the job done.

It should be a nice day at the Randwick track and here is a quaddie to enjoy. We've mixed it with short priced favourites and a couple of roughies:
