Casual Connection - Went close last start, falling just short of victory in second place. Casual Connection stepped out at Randwick-Kensington on 11/06/2025, finishing 2nd over 2400m. I’m confident that Molly Bourke will ride a calculated race this Saturday. Their history of strong performances makes them a reliable choice.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Speycaster - Showed resilience to finish fourth last start, pushing to the line. This Saturday, Jeff Penza will be in the saddle and ready for a win. This race looks suitable for this tactical rider.

Value Play:

Mirzann - Last race saw a finish outside the top four, looking to bounce back with stronger form. On 09/06/2025, Mirzann lined up at Mornington, finishing 9th over 2000m. On Saturday, Reece Jones will get to ride this one. A strong run between these two will be key. Handles this distance of 2400m well, no surprise to see it fighting out the finish.

Federer - Didn’t crack the top four last start but was competitive for much of the race. Reliable performer with a respectable strike rate. Last start performance, Federer came 8th over 1400m at Randwick. A great combination of experience and skill, Anna Roper is more than capable of guiding Federer to a top finish.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Piggyback - A competitive third-place effort last start, proving reliable. Piggyback competed at Randwick over 1600m, finishing 3rd. Braith Nock brings solid experience to the saddle this Saturday, and their timing in races has earned them plenty of respect. Hasn’t won at Rosehill yet, but might be ready to change that.

Value Play:

Hutchence - Gained momentum with a well-judged win last start. Hutchence ran at G B - Ascot on 04/10/2024, finishing 1st in a 3218m event. Jockey Zac Wadick will be in the saddle this Saturday. Has a great winning strike rate. Soft going isn’t a problem, but might prefer it slightly firmer.

Elamaz - He’s making his Aussie debut and has trialled well at Randwick coming into this race. His latest trial was over 1200m and he came in 2nd, bodes well for Saturday. He has a good track record when first-up, winning 1 of 3 and placing in the other 2.

Biggest Threat (Danger):

Glory Daze - Battled hard for third last time out, staying in the mix. Last time out, Glory Daze competed over 2000m, placing 3rd at Rosehill. Has handled soft conditions in the past and could do so again. Handles soft ground well, boasting 4 wins from 8 runs. There’s no doubt that Ashley Morgan is the right person for the job this Saturday. With a solid record, they’ll play a major role. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Rosehill on Saturday. Every so often, it gets the job done - could Saturday be one of those days?

Value Play:

Touristic - Missed out on the top four but could be set for an improved showing soon. Last start, Touristic finished in the placings over 2400m at Rosehill on 14/06/2025. Connections will get to witness their horse racing with Andrew Adkins in the saddle on Saturday. This jockey has plenty of wins under their belt. Competitive at this track, placing in 5 of 10 starts, with 2 wins.
