Thunderlips is looking to complete the hat trick of wins here at Rosehill. He’s a talented runner who I’ve had my eye on for a while, and I’m hoping he can profit for us again. Compared to his previous two starts, this is a little bit of a step up, but he has the class to get it done.

  • Virtuous Circle steps up to 2600m and was strong late behind Bold Soul last start. He meets that rival better at the weights and appeals as a value each-way chance in staying company in Race 5 at Flemington.
  • Sister Daae was scratched midweek to run here. She had a strong maiden win first-up, sticky gate but capable late with luck in transit; blowout hope in Race 4 at Rosehill.
