To kick things off, I’m turning my attention to Eagle Farm, where the favourite in the fourth, Chica Mojito, looks to be too strong for the rest of the field. The Chris Waller-trained mare competed in the Tattersall's Mile at Eagle Farm in late June, where she finished third. The run was full of merit but didn’t have a lot of luck.

For the Flemington Cup, I’m interested in having an each-way play in Bold Soul, who is currently on the third line of betting. The gelding is well into his prep now, and he has been racing at Flemington for the last three races with great success. His last three results include a second, a first and another second. A great value play.

Heading to Rosehill now for the Winter Challenge. Robusto resumed in the Listed Winter Stakes last time out, and it was a decent run, but ended up finishing just behind Estadio Mestalla in second place. He will be fitter for that run under his belt, and looks difficult to beat.
