Quick Analysis:

Liked what she did at this track on debut in April last year. She couldn’t get going next time up and went for a spell. Returned for a short prep in September before being sent to the paddock again. Looking more recently, her effort a couple of weeks ago was good and she ran the fastest last 200m in a 1,200m BM58.

Suffered the narrowest of defeats at Casino and has been back at the trials since. She seems to be building nicely and has been going toe-to-toe with some quality horses (including Floozie who looks out a Group 2). She should be the favourite for this one and the odds around $2.60 seem about right.

Should be one of the more favoured runners in the race, but with odds around the $4.00 mark, there’s still a bit of value in him. He should be well placed against this field and has a decent enough record on Heavy tracks. He’ll have to carry one of the heavier weights but has fitness and form on his side.
